Ortopedista e faixa-preta de Jiu-Jitsu, Dr. Gunter Sgarboza lançou um projeto para estudar mais a fundo a incidência de lesões no nosso esporte. Em conjunto com a Faculdade de Medicina de São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP), Dr. Gunter desenvolveu uma pesquisa para rastrear o número e a natureza das lesões mais comuns.

“Existem outros trabalhos similares, com poucos participantes. Meu objetivo é pegar um grande números de respostas, mapear essas lesões e, desta forma, reconhecer as mais frequentes e trabalhar na prevenção delas.”
